Making Madisonville Great… Have your business
involved by attending our monthly meeting at 12:00
p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month. Now that we
can have our meetings in a social setting the monthly
meeting is held at different locations to better serve
and support the business community and get the
awareness out to the community as to, Who We Are,
What We Do and Why We Matter. The location for the
next month’s meeting is announced at the end of the
meeting. Everyone is welcome, bring new ideas and
get involved with the future growth of our community.
All
booths
will
be
outside,
and
you
must
provide
all
booth
materials
(tables,
chairs,
canopy,
etc.).
Please
note
that
there
are
restrictions
listed
on
the
application
form.
Booth
rental
is
$100.00
for
a
10ft.
X
10ft.
curb
side
space
with
one
side
access.
Corner
booths
or
those
down
the
middle
of
the
street
will
have
one
or
two
additional
open
sides.
There
is
a
$25
fee
for
each
additional
side.
If
you
are
a
food
vendor,
you
must
have
either
a
State
of
Texas
or
a
Madison
County
Temporary
Food
Establishment
Permit
($52
payable
to
Madison
Co.)

All
vendors
must
have
a
Texas
Sales
and
Use
Tax
Permit
or
proof
of
exemption.
The
festival
area
includes
the
Courthouse
Square
and
streets
surrounding
the
downtown
district.
The
festival
begins
at
10:00
a.m.
and
ends
at
5:00
p.m.
Madisonville
is
located
on
I-45,
at
the
intersection
of
State
Highway
21,
about
half-
way
between
Houston
and
Dallas.
We
are
a
small
town
with
friendly
folks,
and
we
love
to
welcome
visitors
to
our
area
during
this
exciting
annual
event.
So
make
your
plans
to
come
to
Madisonville,
The
Mushroom
Capital
of
Texas,
in
October,
2024.

Overall Mission
It
is
the
purpose
of
the
INITIATIVE
to;
improve
and
to
revitalize
the
Madisonville
area
through
beautifications;
heritage
education
and
preservation;
enhancement
of
cultural
awareness,
appreciation,
and
participation;
and
support
for
projects
that
affect
the
current
well-being
or
future
success
of
area
residents,
resulting
in
an
improved
quality
of
life
and
a
community
which
is
an
attractive
destination
for
tourists,
a
place
where
newcomers
desire
to
relocate,
a
venue
for
employment
and
entertainment
for
area
residents,
and
an
area
worthy
of
the
pride
of
its
citizens.
Today
we
have
grown
to
over
200
vendor
booths
at
the
Texas
Mushroom
Festival,
this
is
just
one
of
the
ways
to
raise
money
for
this
endeavor.
The
name
was
changed
to
encompass
the
entire
Madisonville
Area.
Now
is
the
time
to
have
your
business
involved
by
attending
our
monthly
meeting

on
the
